Point Lebanon
Masonic Site
Near
Ely, Nevada
At 9100', high in the mountains east of Ely, Nevada, there is found "Point Lebanon" ... a Masonic site prepared and dedicated in the early 1900's. You can find information about this site in Torrance's "History of Masonry in Nevada" - see Chapter 29, looking at the final 2/3 of that chapter.
At that site are found:

An alter, with a plaque and a Square and Compass set into it ...

The top of the alter looks like this ...
If you look to the east from the alter, you see

hiding back in the shadows there ...

The Master's Podium and comfortable chair!
What a wonderful site for an outdoor degree - watch this spot for news of it!
